Last Saturday, our volunteers made a 2.5 hours trip to Kg. Ulu Geruntum located at Gopeng, to reach out to the Orang Asli Community as the continuation of our Covid19 Relief Outreach sponsored by S&P Global.
A total of 150 community members from the Orang Asli settlement of Kg. Ulu Geruntum and Kg. Poh have attended the Covid19 Awareness and Education Talk conducted by fellow staff and volunteers of HOPE worldwide Malaysia. During the talk, the volunteers also give away the Covid19 Relief Care Kit that inclusive of 2 sets of RTK self-test kits, 1 unit of Oximeter and 2 bottles of 100mg Vitamin C.
Our volunteers also seize this opportunity to provide deworm medicine to the children. We wish to thank all the volunteers for their selflessness and kindness in volunteering their time and energy in this outreach program amid the pandemic. We look forward to more outreach trips to come in the southern region.
