What is the best way to celebrate a 20-year global corporate social responsibility milestone? For Franklin Templeton Malaysia, the answer was simple: rolling up their sleeves, getting their hands dirty, and planting seeds of hope at our urban farm.
To mark their two decades of giving back, the team at Franklin Templeton Malaysia decided to volunteer their time to transplant vegetables at our farm. But what made the day truly special was seeing their humble CEO Datin Nor Hanifah binti Hashim right there in the trenches, working side-by-side with the team to plant for a cause.
This wasn’t just a regular corporate team-building day. These veggies will be nurtured and grown right here at our urban farm. Once fully grown, they will be harvested at peak freshness, packed and distributed directly to vulnerable B40 families through our monthly food distribution program.
Having Datin to lead Malaysian team with such humility reminded all of us that true leadership is about service.
Thank you, Franklin Templeton Malaysia for choosing to share your anniversary milestone with us and our beneficiary families.
