On 28th September 2024, the B Braun Orang Asli Outreach Program made a significant impact in Kampung Desa Ria, Gerik, Perak, bringing much-needed support and care to the local community. This initiative, generously funded by B Braun’s RM 75,500 donation, was made possible through the B. Braun Charity Run and a collaborative effort with the Penang branch of HOPE worldwide Malaysia.
In addition to healthcare, the program included a Food Distribution initiative that reached 200 families. This support came at a critical time, providing families with basic food essentials and helping to ease their daily struggles. For the Orang Asli community, such efforts go a long way in ensuring food security and improving the overall well-being of families in the village. Besides, B Braun volunteers also organized engaging activities and games for the Orang Asli children.
The success of the outreach program was made possible by the dedication and commitment of 29 volunteers from B Braun Medical Industries (BMI). These volunteers worked tirelessly alongside HOPE Worldwide Malaysia to organize the activities, distribute supplies, and provide care to the community members. Their energy and enthusiasm helped create a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every resident felt valued and supported.
