Fundraising Event

Persatuan Kebajikan HOPE worldwide KL is very much dependent on volunteers to execute most of our community works, from home visits to fundraising activities.

The fundraising events below have been organized by volunteers with all monies raised to serve the needy:-

* Walkathons in 2001 and 2002
* Charity Dinner in 2004
* Bolathon in 2006
(Masquerade Walk in conjunction of World Cup)
* Scratch & Derma in 2007
* Dream Alive Charity Bazaar in 2008
* New York Harlem Singers Live in Arean of Stars Genting, Christmas Eve Charity Concert in 2008.
(100% organized and run by volunteers)

On every 3rd Saturday of the month, volunteers are invited to participate in distributing food supplies and organizing activities for the children. Volunteers are welcomed to lend their assistance.

Food Distribution Program

The program was set up in 2006. Families who are hardcore poor often sacrificed the most important element, ie. children's education, by stopping their children from schooling and letting them to work to make ends meet.

On every 3rd Saturday of the month, we distribute groceries to poor families to lighten their burden by meeting their daily needs, so that their children can continue their schooling. Beneficiaries are selected by a panel of judges to determine their eligibility.

Many hardships are lessened as a result of this program but there are many still who have yet to receive this benefit due to limited budget. As such, those who are in the hardcore poor category will be given priority. It is held on every 3rd Saturday of the month from 2pm to 430pm.
